My sculptural work consists of hybridized sculptures and paintings. By projecting minimalist 2D designs onto 3D sculptural surfaces, both free-standing and wall-mounted, I am able to play with the viewer's sense of perception. However, these illusory forms deceive your senses in more ways than one.

Their construction is often dependent on the origin: a broken appliance, unusable footwear, or empty printer cartridges. These are all objects that cannot be recycled once they no longer physically function as necessary. Using unrecyclable and found materials, otherwise classified as junk, I create sculptures that bring new meaning to the unusable and unwanted. Through deformation and abstraction, these objects are reborn as valued art objects with the intention of being indefinitely archived.
